Laravel "419 Page Expired" when submitting a form

I get
419 Page Expired
every time I submit my contact form. GET works fine. What am I missing?

Most likely the CSRF token is missing. Add
@csrf
inside your form:

<form method="post" action="/contact"> @csrf ... </form>
